What's The Word? Weekend #55

It's time for What's the Word? Weekend number fifty-five!  :)





So let's take a look at this weekend's news:


The Bad News:  
Midterms week in this coming week ... yippee. At least I only have one midterm (for once), AND next week is Spring Break! :)




The Good News: 
ROSES ARE RED is officially in the last round of edits (before I get to go through it and tweak anything that needs tweaking)!

Additionally, all week my publisher and I have been working on the cover for the book, and (after some nitpicking on my part) everything was finalized today! So RAR officially has a cover now, YAY! I still don't have a release date yet, but I should after this round of editing is finished, which I'm super excited about! I'm also going to have a cover reveal soon, which is also super exciting! :D

In other news:

I don't usually write about my Wattpad stories on my blog, but this time I can't help myself!

About three weeks ago, I started a story called BULLIED, which is made up of real stories written by people who have experienced bullying. I'm proud to say that yesterday, BULLIED reached #3 on Wattpad's Non-Fiction What's Hot List!!!!!!! :D

My other three (fictional) stories have ranked well on wattpad as well, but this ranking is special because (1) it means that real victims of bullying are actually having their stories heard; and (2) the only two non-fiction stories that are higher ranked both won 2014 Watty Awards (which helps shoot up your numbers on wattpad instantly)! So I just wanted to say how proud I am of all the brave individuals that have shared their stories, and I want to thank everyone who has supported them by commenting, voting, and by simply reading! <3
