Follow me Friday! #4

Hey guys!

It's time for Follow Friday (even though it's still Thursday where I am ... but it must be Friday somewhere else in the world by now, right?)!!!!!!

Question: I like unique names for characters and am looking forward to coming up with some when I start writing. What's the most unique character you've come across?

Answer:  Hmmmm, tough question. To be honest, I haven't really come across many unique names in the books that I've read. I know that names like Katniss and Peeta from The Hunger Games are really unique names that I've heard of, but I guess they don't really count since I haven't read The Hunger Games (yet!). I can't even say Renesmee because I've only read the first two Twilight saga books, and she was in the last book!

Ummmm .... does Dracula or Frankenstein count?

Just kidding. I would have to say the most unique character name I've come across is ...  hmmm ... oh! I know! There's a character in a book I read named Diabola! She's from the book fittingly called Angela and Diabola (I'm sure you guys can guess what the book is generally about). It's a book I read when I was much younger, like somewhere around third grade I think. But I always thought that was an awesome book, and a wicked name!
I wish I could think of a more unique name to share ... I'm also starting to wish that I read more books with uniquely-named characters! :)

I'm sure a lot of you guys have even cooler unique names than mine! ;)

Annnnnnd, now it's time for homework ... Until next time folks!!!!!!

  2. I have never heard of Diabola - or that book! But it sounds awesome, I'll have to look into it :)

(There are so many unique names - this was a tough one! I personally like Frankenstein - even if it's not really unique anymore... LOL!)

  11. Hehe, Diabola...love it. Although, I must admit that at first I though of diabolical which happened to cross my mind nicely with a maniacal laugh (just saying), but then thought of Diablo which would be fitting for a book titled Angela and Diabola. Oh, and I feel like I have to at least mention it. I love you blog. The layout and graphics is just....amazing! New Follower!
