Follow Me Friday #29

Hey everyone!!! :)

It's time for Follow Friday number twenty-nine!!!

Let's take a look at this week's question:

Question: Is there a song that reminds you of a book? Or vice versa? What is the song & the book?

Answer: Wow, this is a hard question for me (even though I think it's one of my favorites thus far)!!! There's so many to choose from and for some reason it's hard for me to think of a song and book right now! Hmmmm...
I know! I would say the song Be Happy For Me by The Kinnardlys reminds me of the book My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. It's just a sweet song that I think goes well with the book's overall message/theme--it's sad but happy at the same time if that makes sense. I don't really know how to explain it, haha, but hopefully once you hear the song, you'll get what I mean. :)

Here's the song Be Happy For Me:

What do you guys think after having heard the song? Comment below and let me know! :)

Well, that's all for this Friday folks!!! Until next time!!! :D

  1. Haven't heard the song. I agree with you. This weeks question is a tough one. I can't think of any songs that remind me of a book. I don’t connect music to books, and I usually read in quiet.

  2. You're right. The song is really sad and it somehow goes with the book!

  3. Hi there,
Thanks for following, your blog has an amazing layout!

I'm glad to hear that you're an aspiring writer like myself! When you finish your book and decide whether or not to to self publish or seek traditional representation, I'd love to read it and review it on my blog. I especially love Indie books as i plan to independently publish myself.

Good luck on your book, I'd love to know what it's about XD

  4. I haven't read the book yet, but my mother-in-law gave me it to read. I think this song fits well with what I know the book is about. Such a pretty song. :)
