Follow me Friday! #12

Hey guys! :)

It's time for Follow Friday!!!

This week's question is:

Question: What is one book that you would be nervous to see a movie adaptation of because you think the movie could never live up to the book?

Answer: *Boring answer alert*
I can't really think of one book where I feel like that to be honest. I mean I feel like, knowing my luck, even if I did say a book, the book would end up becoming a movie anyway ... and then that movie would be really, really AWESOME and I'd end up eating my words. OR maybe I would say a book, and then a movie adaptation would come out, and I'd be right ... then I would feel bad because I would feel as though I jinxed it! So, is it okay if I say "no comment" for this question? :)
Sorry, my answer is kinda diplomatic, Haha. I'd love to hear what book you guys picked though! :)

That's all for this FF folks! I'll probably be making my What's the Word? Weekend post on Sunday, so I'd love for any and all of you to stop by sometime to read that! :D

  3. Hopping through. I would love to be wrong - to expect a movie to be awful and than have it turn out to be great.

  4. Hi! I'm a new follower hopping by!

I like your answer! I think as long as the author has a voice and participates in the decisions needed for the movie, the movie will turn out fine.

  5. Hi there, I'm new here! I kind of agree with your answer. I go into movies with a lot of optimism. Like, maybe it won't be as good as the book, but I'll still be entertained. Happy Friday!

  6. Wow. I'm the exact opposite. Okay, sometimes I just don't care, but most of the times I'm VERY nervous. :D

Haha, I'm the opposite. I really get nervous about books made into movies, especially if I like the books so much (as Harry Potter)

  9. Lol. Thx for the *boring* warning... I think? Hilarious.

I didn't feel overly-inspired, either. It's hard to think fast AND get your post up quick - which you did phenomenally. -Burgandy Ice
